It's been a long week.

There is nothing like losing your whole post that can just push you past your boiling point.

Let's see if I can remember most of this original post... hmm... LOL!  Well, our workshop is over (as of the 6th)!  YAY!!  We all passed our check-outs!!  DOUBLE-YAY!!  Did we ever have a doubt?    I think Steph was the only one who wasn't nervous!  But all in all, we flew through the last session with flying colors.  Our presenter was just so cute!  It's teachers like her who continue to inspire me - I couldn't even begin to explain how wonderful this woman was.  Our educational system is blessed to have her in the system.  Awesome lady.

So... it's Friday (13th - go figure... ) and I'm still at home.  Not in my classroom, fixing up and preparing for the new school year which is just four days away

Monday (the 9th) rolled around and we were excited to get back into the classrooms and start fixing.  Well maybe not all of us, but believe it or not, I was!!    Reggie was ready to help and I was POSITIVE things would be looking great by the end of the day.  But before we got a chance to get things rolling, I get a call from Steph.  None of us would be able to start because workers were still in the process of tiling some rooms.  So, we were instructed to check back on....THURSDAY!  Do the math...that's five days before school starts!!    Were they serious???   Oh well, things couldn't possibly get worse, right?  Wrong!  Come Wednesday (11th), I find out I can't get in until they remove room 14's furniture from my room.  And that won't happen until its tiles are dry!!  What's more, Mina is informed that she's switching to 1st grade and to a different room that very day!  When I found out, for a moment I thought we were all on a local version of Punk'd or Boiling Points.  I kept saying, "Are they serious??" and half-expected someone to tell me it was all a joke.   LOL!!  Well... I went in on Thursday anyway, hoping that maybe there was a way I could work around all the clutter.  And there wasn't.  But luckily, Steph and Jane were able to start on their rooms.  I went in again today, and still nothing new.  So my weekend is shot.  I'll be going in tomorrow and HOPEFULLY, I can get someone to help me move things out of my room.  If not, I'll lug things out myself!!!

So all the excitement I had towards the start of a new year has pretty much dissipated.  LOL!!  But really, I'm not that stressed about it as I would expect to be.  I am surprisingly calm.    And it really has a lot to do with Reggie.  When all these things started crashing down on ALL OF US, Reggie gave me advice, motivated me and encouraged me to see the brighter side of things.  And I'm so thankful for that!!  Without his support, I'd be ... !!  The combination of his words and his strength has helped me make it through this week and I am so THANKFUL for that.  I  how Reggie is never afraid to show me support & encouragement, defend my actions and even censure them and I find that amazing.  As Kimmie would say: he's a keeper!    Oh yes, thank you!

Soooo... I'm looking forward to getting what I can done tomorrow.  At least I get more time on this computer!!  LOL!!
